Outdoor games are a lot of fun to play for any age group. That's why we offer outdoor games for kids, adults, boys and girls. If your kids went out into the yard to play I'm sure they would create a couple new games of their own to play. Kids have very creative minds and come up with some good ideas. You could even take tips on how to create some new games to play.
These outdoor games can be played at any time. The next time you're having a family party or event, try setting up a game with a fun twist that will keep everyone laughing and having fun. The idea is to get your guests to have a good time, not to be competitive. You could have a water balloon fight but you have to throw the balloon with your left hand. Or have you kids play tag hopping on one foot instead of running.
The big thing is to start thinking of these ideas yourself. You should get out there and play the games with your kids and as you're playing try to think of a few things that would make it more exciting. Try getting a large yoga ball and have your kids play soccer or kick ball with it, or have them try to play catch with 2 tennis balls at the same time instead of one.
Outdoor Games for Kids
Some outdoor games for kids include the classics like capture the flag, hopscotch, cops and robbers etc. Capture the flag is an outdoor game only! It's played with two teams and you'll need a lot of room and at least 3-4 players per team. It's a game better played with a large group. Hopscotch is a very easy game to play. You'll need some chalk to draw the diagram on your driveway and a flat rock to land soft on the driveway. It's a game that most kids already know but just in case they don't we wanted to add it to the site. Cops and robbers is a great outdoor game that kids can play on foot or on bikes. I think the game is better played on bikes but some kids their own preference. Some different types of outdoor games for kids include ware wolf, sardines, octopus and many more. Sardines is an outdoor game that's a lot similar to Hide 'N Seek except when you find the person you sit with them until everyone finds them. Outdoor Games for Adults
Some outdoor games for adults include Butts up, 21, PIG, kick ball and more! Butts up its a great outdoor game that could be fun for kids or adults. It involves throwing a ball against a wall or garage so make sure you have a lot of room and a tennis ball. 21 is played in a basketball setting. You only need one hoop and a rough estimate of where the fould line would be. PIG is also an outdoor basketball game that most people already know but it's a great game so I figured I'd make sure everyone knows it! Kick ball requires a lot of players. It's an outdoor game similar to baseball, but played with a playground ball and you kick it instead of using a bat and ball. Outdoor Games for Boys
Some of our outdoor games for boys include Dodge ball, paint ball, pickle and more! Some of these games will be known by most boys, but we'll list and explain them all anyways just in case. Dodge ball is a fun outdoor game only, played with a playground ball or soccer ball is you don't have one. Paint ball is great if you have a big area of woods that boys could play the game in. You don't want them shooting the paint ball guns anywhere around the house or cars!
